LAMB WITH HYSSOP

"Go at once and...slaughter the Passover Lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop...put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of your door frame. The Lord...will see the blood...and will pass over that doorway." Exodus 12:22-23. 

The  little lamb reminds us of the gentleness and innocence of our Lord. Hyssop is hyssopus officinalis in North America ororiganum maru or origanum syriacum  in the Holy Land. It grows here in our garden to bring to mind an important question. Have you applied the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, to your door frame?
